We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Intern-to-Hire Ballroom Dance Instructor.
Position Overview:
This internship is designed for recent or upcoming college graduates with a passion for dance and teaching. The role will provide hands-on experience in both group and private lessons, under the guidance of our expert instructors. If you’re looking to start your dance teaching career and gain invaluable experience in a supportive environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in teaching group and private ballroom dance classes for students of all skill levels.
- Support senior instructors during lessons and studio events.
- Help develop and practice teaching materials and routines for students.
- Create a positive, fun, and motivating atmosphere for students.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
- Build relationships with students, helping them improve and achieve their dance goals.
- Potential to take on independent teaching roles as you progress.
What We’re Looking For:
- Recent or upcoming college graduate with a degree in dance, performing arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A foundation in dance is beneficial, but not required!
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students of all ages.
- Passion for teaching and helping others learn.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and occasional weekends.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required.
